Description of Job Functions:
- Achievement of annual bookings target
- Sell to Telecommunication companies in North America (minus ATT and TMobile)
- Communicate business and technical value of the Kabira product offering
- Prospect and qualify needs and articulate business oriented solutions based on the Kabira product suite
- Create and or deliver product presentations to prospects
- Negotiate and close complex sales across departments
- Foster and maintain customer relationships
- Bring at least one new client per year to Kabira
- Sell profitable business
Responsibilities:
- Cold call, follow up on leads
- Uncover new opportunities
- Assist in qualifying both business and technical value at targeted prospects
- Analyze business needs and assess applicability of Kabira products
- Create a context specific solution that meets the goals of the client
- Create strategic selling plans for targeted accounts
- Present solutions, proposal, contracts, etc. to all levels of client management
- Respond to RFPs and RFIs
Skill Set/ Qualifications:
- Experience as a sales person in the Telecommunications Markets a must
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with sales of Infrastructure software a must
- Experience selling application infrastructure software, like application servers a plus
- Domain sales expertise in Telecommunications a must.
- Understanding of the problems and issues facing Telecommunication companies
- Experience with transaction processing systems a plus
- OOA (use case approach), OOD, knowledge of OO Case tools (Eclipse), knowledge of OO modeling language and Java language a plus
- Excellent presentation skills as well as the ability to negotiate difficult or sensitive situations diplomatically
- Ability to understand client's perspectives in all interactions, to analyze their needs and to offer alternative solutions
- Team player
- Ability to communicate effectively at different levels
- Analytical and problem solver, ability to work on own initiative
- Adaptable, flexible and open minded
